🌸 Rare Natural Ryukyu Indigo Dyeing Workshop 🌸

We offer a unique opportunity to learn about the rare and precious Ryukyu indigo from Amami through an engaging slide presentation covering its history, cultural background, and the art of indigo dyeing.

By understanding the rarity and current state of Ryukyu indigo—grown only in Amami, Okinawa, and the Nansei Islands—your dyeing experience will become even more memorable and meaningful.

⏱ Duration: 2 hours

• 1 hour lecture

• 1 hour hands-on dyeing experience

💴 Workshop Fee: ¥7,700 (tax included)
Includes lecture, dyeing experience, and all materials.
A large handkerchief (55 cm square) will be provided.
You can take your dyed creation home with you.

Please book the indigo dyeing workshop at the same time as your accommodation.
